Associate Program Manager – Data Center Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist with pre-lease technical due diligence for a confidential hyperscale data center client.

• Organize and monitor a portfolio of active deals under the supervision of a Program Manager.

• Manage action item logs, assign responsibilities, follow up on statuses, and escalate stalled issues.

• Maintain risk registers for each location.

• Create agendas, manage recurring calls, and provide same-day recaps and minutes.

• Track deliverables from consultants and developers across various workstreams.

• Participate in every deal call and serve as the deal backstop.

• Maintain shared tracking systems and communication channels.

• Draft client reports and status updates.

• Develop and sustain account checklists and templates.

• Gradually take ownership of complete workstreams or lower-complexity sites from start to finish.

• Escalate issues on the same day they arise.

• Comply with applicable SOX control responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience is required.

• A degree is not mandatory.

• Experience in program or project coordination is preferred.

• Backgrounds in data centers, real estate, or construction are advantageous.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, low-information environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Working knowledge of, or a willingness to rapidly learn about, data centers and their construction, including power, cooling, and long lead equipment.

• Understanding of program tracking and risk management principles.

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and adjust priorities with limited information.

• Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and adapts quickly to changes.

• Proficient with technology, including MS Suite and Google Workspace.

• Comfort with building and maintaining tracking tools is a plus.

• Ability to understand and adhere to site HSSE policies.
