This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Work in conjunction with Project Management Teams to develop, review, and update project and program budgets, forecasts, EACs, reporting, and analysis.
• Lead contract kick-off meetings and assist with CostPoint project setup, billing, accounting, and meeting contractual financial obligations.
• Establish and oversee CostPoint project workforce while monitoring labor charges, personnel limits, budgets, and personnel spending.
• Track and evaluate project and program expenditures, addressing any discrepancies or coding errors.
• Analyze, monitor, and report on project financial performance, pinpointing deviations and suggesting corrective measures.
• Oversee the cost lifecycle of subcontractors/vendors, including Purchase Requests, Purchase Orders, invoices, payments, and accruals.
• Identify program risks and challenges while ensuring that mitigation strategies are implemented.
• Prepare or assist in the creation of client status reports, integrated program reviews, and on-demand financial inquiries.
• Review and authorize client invoices, resolving any unbilled amounts.
• Monitor, track, and project labor and non-labor project expenditures, managing T&M labor category limits.
• Collaborate on pricing proposals and cost estimates, including pricing assumptions and basis of estimates.
• Assist with federal agency and internal/external audits.
• Aid in the development or enhancement of project control processes, procedures, and systems.
• Minimum of 3 years of Project Control experience supporting projects and programs for a Government Contractor, including FFP, T&M, and Cost Plus Award Fee contract types.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Project/Program Control role within a government contracting environment.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with FFP OTA is preferred.
• Proven track record in managing Program Control teams.
• Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint is essential.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across various departments and organizational levels.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced MS Excel skills are required.
• Must possess an active Top Secret Clearance.
