This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Establish budget baselines and ensure integration of cost and schedule.
• Create project budgets, timelines, and Estimated At Completion (EAC) reports.
• Oversee and regulate project financials and timelines.
• Conduct financial performance evaluations, visibility reports, and variance assessments.
• Examine variances and trends, developing innovative methods and process improvements.
• Collaborate with project and program management to monitor risks, challenges, mitigation efforts, EACs, and the Risks & Opportunities Register.
• Track project critical paths and manage resource coordination.
• Detect technical, regulatory, and scheduling discrepancies and execute corrective measures.
• Assist in managing subcontractor/vendor costs, covering Purchase Requests, Purchase Orders, invoicing, payments, and accrual documentation.
• Validate subcontractor invoices for accuracy, promptness, and completion.
• Ensure subcontractor funding is current, accessible, and in alignment with the prime contract.
• Report directly to the Director of Finance and Accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Extensive experience with the MS Office Suite.
• Must be analytical, possess strong communication and presentation skills, and be capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a federal contracting setting, including familiarity with FAR/DFAR or other governmental regulations.
• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, Operations, Manufacturing, etc.) within a matrix organization.
• U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency in the U.S., or protected-individual status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
