This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Provide program management support for PMA 265 Australia IPT related to the F/A-18 air vehicle, its subsystems, armament, engine, airborne weapons, technical publications, spares, support equipment, transportation, and training efforts.
• Create, modify, and review acquisition and contractual documents, which include PIDs, SOWs, CDRLs, and delivery schedules.
• Organize, support, and participate in program management reviews, technical coordination meetings, conferences, briefings, and other program-related activities and events.
• Utilize analytical techniques to assess program and project objectives, requirements, performance indicators, budget execution, and adherence to schedules.
• Perform management, technical, and business case analyses to evaluate options, identify risks, and propose solutions.
• Gather, organize, interpret, and document technical, financial, and programmatic data concerning aircraft, weapon systems, and acquisition programs.
• Track and oversee costs, schedules, performance metrics, milestones, and deliverables; identify discrepancies and assist in corrective action planning.
• Develop acquisition documentation, including program plans, briefings, reports, and decision packages necessary under DoD Instruction 5000-series processes.
• Establish and sustain configuration management, change control, and data management processes to ensure compliance with DoD standards and program specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering, logistics, financial management, contracting, and security stakeholders.
• Prepare program reviews, milestone documentation, and executive-level presentations that communicate program status, risks, and recommendations.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance.
• BS/BA degree.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis in relation to weapon systems acquisition and lifecycle management (LCM).
• At least six (6) years of recent work experience out of the ten years in analysis and planning.
• Specific knowledge of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Defense Security Assistance Programs.
• Expert understanding of SECNAV, OPNAV, and OSD forms pertaining to PPBS, MIPR, Work Requests, Requisitions, CDRLs, and DD254.
• Flexibility and the capability to work independently while managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Desired experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro, SharePoint, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Desired knowledge of NAVAIR security, technical transfer, and foreign disclosure policies.
• Must work during East Coast core business hours.
