Senior Professional Services Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Implement, configure, train, and provide support for the BusinessPlus ERP system, concentrating on Finance, Procurement, or related modules.

• Lead or assist in the implementation of BusinessPlus modules.

• Configure system settings, tables, and business rules in accordance with client specifications.

• Convert functional requirements into system configuration and design specifications.

• Support data conversion tasks, including validation and reconciliation assistance.

• Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and meetings for gathering requirements.

• Offer expert advice on best practices and system functionalities.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients during implementation and after go-live.

• Manage client expectations and effectively communicate progress, risks, and issues.

• Develop and implement test plans, including unit, system, and user acceptance testing support.

• Troubleshoot functional issues and work with technical teams to find resolutions.

• Create training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and administrators.

• Develop and maintain process flows, configuration guides, and additional documentation.

• Assist with knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams.

• Provide support during go-live and stabilization phases.

• Help resolve issues, implement enhancements, optimize requests, promote client adoption, and improve the system.

• Collaborate with technical teams, project management, and client stakeholders.

• Ensure project milestones are delivered on schedule and within scope.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• A minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience.

• Between 3 to 7+ years of experience in implementing or supporting ERP systems.

• Practical experience with BusinessPlus (preferred) or similar ERP platforms.

• Strong functional understanding of Finance (GL, AP, AR, Budgeting).

• Experience with data conversion, testing, and system configuration.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.

• Experience in supporting or implementing ERP solutions, ideally within finance or business operations.

• Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 25–30%, with increased frequency during peak times.

• Additional experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.

• Experience working with public sector or K-12 clients (preferred).

• Familiarity with payroll compliance requirements, multi-state experience preferred.

• Knowledge of reporting tools and queries within BusinessPlus (preferred).

• Exposure to integrations, interfaces, or data migration tools (preferred).

• Project implementation experience in a consulting environment.

• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

• Ability to translate technical concepts into language suitable for business contexts.

• Strong organizational and time management skills across multiple projects.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality.

• Proactive in identifying risks and resolving issues.
