This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Implement, configure, train users on, and provide support for the BusinessPlus ERP system, focusing mainly on Finance, Procurement, and related modules.
• Adjust system settings, tables, and business rules to meet client specifications.
• Convert functional requirements into system configuration and design specifications.
• Assist with data conversion activities, including validation and reconciliation support.
• Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and requirement-gathering meetings.
• Guide clients on best practices and system capabilities throughout the implementation process and after going live.
• Manage client expectations while communicating progress, risks, and issues effectively.
• Create and execute test plans, which encompass unit, system, and UAT support.
• Resolve functional issues and work collaboratively with technical teams to find solutions.
• Develop training materials and conduct training for end users and administrators.
• Generate and maintain process flows, configuration guides, and other essential documentation.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams.
• Provide support during go-live and stabilization phases.
• Aid in issue resolution, enhancements, optimization requests, client adoption, and system improvements.
• Achieve project milestones on schedule and within scope while ensuring client satisfaction and configuration quality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• 3–7+ years of experience in implementing or supporting ERP systems.
• Practical experience with BusinessPlus (preferred) or similar ERP platforms.
• Strong functional expertise in Finance, including GL, AP, AR, or Budgeting.
• Experience in data conversion, testing, and system configuration.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Familiarity with public sector or K-12 clients (preferred).
• Knowledge of payroll compliance requirements, with multi-state experience preferred.
• Understanding of reporting tools and queries within BusinessPlus (preferred).
• Experience with integrations, interfaces, or data migration tools (preferred).
• Project implementation experience in a consulting context (preferred).
• Outstanding communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to simplify technical concepts into business-friendly language.
• Strong organizational and time management skills across various projects.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Proactive in identifying risks and resolving issues.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 25-30%, for team summits, training, customer meetings, and company events.
• Additional experience may substitute for an advanced degree.
