Senior Product Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of initiatives that enhance security automation and fortify product security pipelines.

• Investigate the application of AI for identifying and addressing vulnerabilities.

• Acquire and disseminate knowledge regarding vulnerabilities relevant to the product.

• Improve team services through software engineering solutions.

• Collaborate with various stakeholders throughout the product department.

• Analyze metrics associated with outbound email security.

• Oversee the Web Application Firewall ruleset.

• Focus on security measures for Kubernetes.

• Protect CI/CD pipelines.

• Manage the central HTML sanitization service developed in TypeScript.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience with security concepts, including penetration testing, secure software development, vulnerability management, SAST, and DAST.

• Proficient programming abilities, ideally in TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, Go, or Python.

• Solid understanding of Unix and Kubernetes infrastructure.

• Familiarity with Terraform and Kustomize is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in German is a plus.
