Senior Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Define, prioritize, and oversee the product backlog to ensure clarity and value in deliverables.

• Convert business objectives into user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable requirements.

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, users, and the squad's technical team.

• Facilitate refinements, planning sessions, reviews, and other agile ceremonies with the team.

• Establish and monitor product metrics such as adoption rates, performance, and delivered value.

• Develop and communicate a product roadmap that aligns with the area strategy.

• Manage interdependencies between squads and areas, including payments, shippers, carriers, and ERP systems.

• Utilize Jira exports and operational indicators for evidence-based prioritization.

• Ensure alignment between product vision, technical outputs, and stakeholder expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive (senior) experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager within agile teams.

• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Proficiency in management tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• Ability to craft clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.

• Experience in prioritizing the backlog based on business value and data analytics.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Analytical mindset for working with product metrics and indicators.

• Capability to manage multiple workstreams and dependencies concurrently.

• An ownership mentality regarding the product with a focus on delivering value.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to align across various areas.

• Strategic thinking paired with a keen attention to execution.

• Collaborative leadership style without formal authority within the squad.

• Data-driven approach and evidence-based decision-making.

• Preferred: experience in logistics/transport products, including freight, CIOT, ANTT, and transport compliance.

• Preferred: experience in fintech, payment methods, or connection platforms.

• Preferred: experience in product discovery and hypothesis validation.

• Preferred: technical knowledge of APIs and system architecture.

• Preferred: experience in environments with multiple squads and large-scale projects.
