Senior Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Oversee the delivery process

• Convert high-level requirements into well-structured user stories that are clear for stakeholders and the delivery team

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of customer needs as they pertain to the product backlog

• Advocate for and manage the value associated with product releases

• Prepare release notes and negotiate timelines for releases

• Ensure that the backlog is properly sized, including epics and stories, in accordance with backlog priority

• Communicate and advocate for the product vision

• Lead the release planning and communication efforts

• Collaborate with development teams to assign backlog items to sprint deliverables

• Work closely with development teams, including Development, QA, and DevOps, to address queries and concerns during sprints

• Validate customer needs and grasp the product vision

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and vendors to understand the operational context for the product development being led

• Build relationships with key stakeholders to enhance product direction

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Manager for a software product

• Experience across various industries, projects, and product configurations

• Fluent in both spoken and written English

• Knowledgeable in gathering and processing software requirements

• Proven experience working in an international setting with diverse stakeholders and personalities

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering

• Detail-oriented with an analytical and curious mindset

• Capable of working independently while fostering team spirit

• Highly organized with excellent time management abilities

• Familiarity with JIRA and agile software methodologies

• Experience in the fields of Aviation, Insurance, or Energy is a plus

• Basic understanding of software technologies, including databases, integrations, and data handling, is advantageous

• Experience in projects with fixed timelines, scope, and budgets is beneficial
