Associate Forward-Deployed Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily communications with clients, addressing inquiries, managing escalations, and fulfilling client requests.

• Directly liaise with the internal development team.

• Manage project management tools including GitHub Projects and Jira.

• Ensure project status, documentation, and release notes are up-to-date.

• Examine client data to uncover gaps, inconsistencies, and risks.

• Assist in solution architecture and functional gap assessments.

• Validate each release prior to client delivery.

• Organize client testing and obtain sign-off.

• Take ownership of go-live preparedness.

• Develop training materials and provide client training sessions.

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the Tailor platform.

• Transform client feedback into product insights to guide the platform roadmap.

• Work collaboratively with the Account Manager and Senior PM on client implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in product management within large tech firms or startups, and/or management consulting experience.

• Management consulting background is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles.

• Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and eager to learn and develop.

• An ownership mindset with a keen interest in operational and technical details.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient with data analysis tools and AI-driven workflows.

• Familiarity with ecommerce or physical product operations is advantageous.

• Knowledge of ERP, 3PL, or commerce platforms is a plus.

• Previous experience onboarding customers onto software systems is beneficial.
