This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Conduct discovery by mapping existing processes, quantifying pain points and financial impact, as well as identifying areas where AI agents can deliver measurable value.
• Transform business challenges into actionable AI requirements and acceptance criteria in collaboration with the AI Quality Engineer.
• Take ownership of outcome definitions for outcome-based contracts, encompassing measurement, approval, and management of missed thresholds.
• Oversee client-supplied domain experts and address any availability concerns.
• Manage project scope and uphold a well-organized backlog.
• Facilitate weekly client demonstrations, gather feedback, adjust priorities, and guide the team towards high-value tasks.
• Coordinate with business, IT, security, procurement, and legal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the client’s change and adoption team to enhance system usage.
• Monitor and report on delivery health, burn rate, risks, decisions, and benefits realization.
• Identify commercial risks such as scope creep, inadequate executive sponsorship, and unexpected integration challenges.
• 3–8 years of experience in product ownership, delivery management, or client-facing consulting, including a minimum of 2 years of software delivery rather than solely program management.
• Proven track record of delivering under fixed-price or outcome-based commercial agreements, where maintaining scope discipline had financial implications.
• Proficiency in agile delivery with a genuine weekly release cadence.
• Technical knowledge adequate to challenge an engineer’s estimates and comprehend why a retrieval pipeline may yield subpar results; coding skills are not necessary.
• Understanding of what LLM-based systems can reliably achieve and their limitations.
• Executive presence suitable for steering committees with client CIOs, COOs, and business unit leaders.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, healthcare, or similarly regulated industries.
• Exceptional written communication skills.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Willingness to travel to client locations.
• Prior experience with a top-tier strategy consultancy, Big Four, or specialized delivery boutique is advantageous.
• Background as a business analyst, engineer, or data professional prior to transitioning into product roles is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI quality concepts, including evaluation design, acceptance criteria, and human-in-the-loop workflow design is a bonus.
• Experience managing engagements alongside a separate change management partner is advantageous.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is a bonus.
• Initially employed by Bits In Glass, with an intended transition to a permanent position directly with Convene AI after approximately 12–18 months, depending on business needs and transition arrangements.
