πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Take charge of the direct communication line between customers and Product Management. Integrate ongoing discovery with RevOps and Finance stakeholders alongside structured primary research (win/loss analysis, surveys, segmentation) to gain insights into actual customer platform usage, identify positioning gaps, and recognize deficiencies in our product narrative. Compile patterns into organized feedback for Product, shaping development priorities.

β€’ Create and sustain messaging that resonates with what customers genuinely value, rather than assumptions about their needs. Rigorously test assertions against competitive positioning and real-time customer feedback.

β€’ Convert insights from the competitive environment into strategic recommendations for Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams.

β€’ Collaborate with the GTM team to implement positioning in the market, from sales narratives to product launches. Ensure that launches reflect the positioning and customer insights you have crafted, and work alongside GTM on enablement, rather than taking sole responsibility for it.

β€’ Act as the internal advocate for the customer voice and become an authority on CaptivateIQ and its category for our prospects and customers.

β€’ Collaborate with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps to align on priorities and maintain a consistent narrative from product ideation through launch and ongoing efforts.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Over 7 years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing or product management, demonstrating the capability to conduct customer discovery and translate feedback into both product and go-to-market strategies.

β€’ Familiarity with more technical products and the ability to engage with both technical teams and customers effectively. You can comprehend an architecture, pose the right questions, and identify customer issues within it.

β€’ Proven track record of influencing product decisions, showcasing instances where customer feedback you gathered led to changes in what was developed.

β€’ Experience utilizing AI tools and possessing perspectives on positioning AI products.

β€’ Outstanding storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts into clear and compelling messaging.

β€’ A methodical, evidence-based approach to research and measurement, capable of designing win/loss studies or buyer research, interpreting data honestly, and refining strategies based on insights.

β€’ Comfortable working autonomously in an environment where GTM infrastructure is still under development rather than being pre-established.

β€’ Extensive understanding of competitive intelligence and its application to differentiate and secure deals.
