This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the primary GRC Subject Matter Expert for Strategic and Enterprise Account Executives.
β’ Participate in discovery and qualification calls, assess compliance programs utilizing Vanta's platform, and assist with demos, POCs, workshops, and customer visits.
β’ Provide guidance to prospects on multi-framework strategies, shared controls, business unit and workspace scoping, custom frameworks, and audit sequencing.
β’ Address field inquiries and review as well as validate answers generated by AI agents before they are presented to customers.
β’ Utilize AI agents on a daily basis as a quality checkpoint and potentially develop associated tools.
β’ Create and deliver go-to-market enablement through live sessions, bootcamp scenarios, mock-customer roleplays, asynchronous curriculum modules, and reviews of GRC marketing and SEO content.
β’ Manage monthly alignment meetings with sales frontline managers.
β’ Provide structured product feedback to Product and PM partners.
β’ Transfer deal context during post-sales transitions.
β’ Travel approximately once every quarter for customer visits, POC workshops, team offsites, and events.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of practical GRC experience.
β’ In-depth experience on the buyer side in building, managing, or transforming multi-framework compliance programs, or advising organizations in these areas.
β’ Proficiency in at least one emerging field: AI governance, GRC engineering/continuous monitoring, or enterprise risk.
β’ Customer-facing experience with CISOs, founders, and procurement teams.
β’ Ability to produce high-quality written content for customer-facing responses, scoping documents, and playbooks.
β’ Proven fluency in AI, including the use of LLM tools and assessing AI output against authoritative sources.
β’ Experience in training, presenting, publishing, or enabling others.
β’ Familiarity with sales processes (MEDDPICC or similar).
β’ Depth of knowledge in audit processes from either the buyer or provider perspective.
β’ Ability to maintain scope boundaries under deal pressure.
β’ Willingness to leverage AI to enhance skills and boost efficiency and effectiveness.
β’ Extensive expertise in two to three GRC pillars along with a conversational, demo-capable understanding across Governance, Data Governance, Compliance, Risk Management, Third-Party Risk Management, Continuous Monitoring, Privacy, Trust, and AI Security & Governance.
β’ Experience with standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001/27017/27018/27701, HIPAA/HITRUST, PCI DSS 4.0, GDPR, US privacy regulations, or NIST CSF 2.0.
β’ Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA/CISM, ISO 27001 LA/LI, CIPP/CIPT, or AI-governance credentials are seen as positive indicators but not mandatory.
β’ Must reside in the U.S.; the application form will inquire about authorization to work in the specified location, visa sponsorship, and location within the Central, Mountain, or Pacific Time Zones.
