This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take ownership of positioning and messaging for our API products, rooted in a thorough understanding of their technical capabilities and the way developers assess them.
β’ Strategically plan and implement product launches and feature announcements, covering everything from technical narratives to go-to-market materials.
β’ Create high-quality content for developers, including landing pages, launch announcements, comparison pages, email campaigns, in-product text, and sales enablement resources.
β’ Collaborate with product and engineering teams to gain in-depth product knowledge. You should be adept at reviewing documentation, testing the API personally, and asking insightful technical questions.
β’ Work alongside the docs/DX team to enhance the developer journey: onboarding processes, quickstarts, and the overall experience of evaluating and adopting the API.
β’ Perform win/loss analysis, conduct customer interviews, and carry out competitive research to refine messaging and guide roadmap discussions.
β’ Establish and monitor key metrics that are crucial for product marketing: activation, adoption, and content effectiveness.
β’ Serve as the internal advocate for developers and the external representative for the product.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing, developer marketing, or a related field, preferably in a company targeting developers.
β’ A technical or highly technical background is essential (previous roles as a developer, solutions engineer, technical writer, or similar are highly favored. You should be able to read code and engage in technical discussions competently).
β’ Outstanding writing abilities. You can distill complex technical ideas into clear, engaging, and jargon-free content, and you genuinely appreciate the art of writing.
β’ A keen sense of UX and content design: you consider how information is organized and consumed, not just its content.
β’ Native or near-native fluency in English, along with excellent verbal communication skills.
β’ A proactive and self-driven mindset. You identify opportunities, suggest solutions, and advance projects independently without needing extensive guidance.
β’ Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight while remaining aligned with team objectives and priorities.
β’ Strong collaborative skills across functions, particularly with engineering and product teams.
β’ Flexible work arrangements
