This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +6 more states.
• Formulate the long-term vision and strategy for collecting, structuring, and utilizing customer-generated data as a core Platform capability.
• Spearhead discovery initiatives focused on customer needs, contribution behaviors, and product opportunities.
• Identify and prioritize high-impact investment areas, translating insights into a strategic roadmap, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
• Oversee shared platform capabilities that empower the Hunt, Offroad, Backcountry, and Fish teams to create customer-facing contribution experiences.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to provide scalable, flexible, and dependable solutions.
• Balance the needs of individual product teams with sustainable, long-term platform capabilities.
• Partner with product, design, engineering, and cross-functional teams to establish shared requirements.
• Advocate for the platform vision and promote its adoption across product teams.
• Foster stakeholder alignment, communicate decisions and trade-offs, and generate momentum in uncertain situations.
• Lead a cross-functional team through discovery, product definition, delivery, measurement, and iteration.
• Ensure customer trust, data integrity, and responsible data usage throughout the product development process.
• Create feedback loops to enhance the platform and facilitate its adoption.
• Define success metrics and utilize customer, product, and partner feedback for prioritization and ongoing improvement.
• Leverage AI throughout the product lifecycle while validating outcomes against customer needs and business objectives.
• Report directly to the Director of Product, Platform.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in leading software products or platforms, including at least four years in product management.
• Proven experience in building platform capabilities that support mobile applications.
• Experience leading 0-to-1 or discovery-oriented product initiatives.
• Experience in developing platform capabilities, developer-facing products, APIs, SDKs, or other shared services adopted by multiple internal teams.
• Ability to craft product strategy, outline roadmaps, and make prioritization and sequencing decisions that balance immediate needs with long-term scalability.
• Experience influencing engineering, design, and product stakeholders in a matrixed environment without direct authority.
• Experience in defining and measuring product success through meaningful metrics and utilizing customer insights and data.
• Sound judgment in balancing customer value, technical complexity, quality, and trust.
• Hands-on operational style that merges strategic thinking with everyday execution.
• Practical experience using AI to enhance product discovery, analysis, decision-making, and execution.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is a prerequisite for employment.
• Willingness to travel quarterly for several days to a corporate office or other onX strategic locations.
• Preferred residence near an onX office or Basecamp, or in an eligible U.S. state.
