Senior Product Manager, Trading

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the strategy and roadmap for an established trading API product area or a new initiative.

• Develop product concepts and make decisions based on customer feedback, on-chain and internal data, along with firsthand experience in DeFi and trading communities.

• Perform customer check-ins, analyze customer metrics, identify pain points, and forecast future needs.

• Examine on-chain and internal data to uncover performance gaps, competitive changes, and potential opportunities.

• Collaborate with engineering leaders to navigate complex problems, assess trade-offs, and decide what features to build.

• Work in conjunction with go-to-market teams on product positioning and user adoption strategies.

• Engage directly with the CEO and leadership team to influence product direction.

• Collaborate closely with engineers from the initial concept phase through to launch as an active individual contributor.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years in product management or equivalent experience as a founder, GM, or trader who transitioned into product development.

• Proven track record of successfully launching B2B, API, or infrastructure products that achieved genuine adoption and revenue.

• Data-oriented; proficient in creating Dune dashboards and analyzing API performance and internal analytics using tools like Grafana, Metabase, or similar.

• Technically adept in areas such as routing, execution quality, latency, and associated technical issues.

• Experience in DeFi with a focus on on-chain trading, perpetuals, or DEX aggregation.

• Proficient AI user; capable of running agents, automating workflows, and developing productivity tools.

• Willing to attend annual in-person team offsites globally.

• Preferred: experience founding a company or being an early-stage technology startup builder.

• Preferred: background in computer science or previous experience as an engineer transitioning into product management.

• Preferred: extensive experience within EVM and/or Solana ecosystems.

• Preferred: experience mentoring or enhancing the skills of other product managers.

• Preferred: strong understanding of financial markets.
