Senior Product Manager – Special Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of new product areas prior to team formation by formulating a thesis, conducting research, assessing opportunities, and deciding whether to initiate a squad, adopt a lean approach, delegate, or discontinue the project.

• Transform research findings into briefs, prototypes, and ready-to-build specifications for squads.

• Utilize AI agents to evaluate customer tickets, sales calls, usage data, and competitor analysis.

• Rapidly deliver clickable prototypes to test concepts with actual customers.

• Manage smaller projects from start to finish in collaboration with engineers from current squads.

• Temporarily support a squad as needed while maintaining focus on the overall portfolio.

• Collaborate asynchronously through comprehensive written product documentation.

• Report directly to Co-founder and Head of Product, Kapil Kale.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in building and delivering web applications as a designer, engineer, or product manager in technology firms.

• A minimum of 2 years experience taking new products from inception to launch.

• Capability to be solely responsible for an initiative without an established team.

• Ability to manage a portfolio rather than focusing on a single product and shift focus when validation contradicts a thesis.

• Proven history of converting ambiguous opportunities into prioritized and actionable roadmaps.

• Strong intuition for product development, sound design judgment, and technical literacy.

• Proficient in collaborating effectively with designers and engineers.

• Exceptional written communication abilities.

• Experience as a founder, founding product manager, or first product hire is highly valued.
