This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the vision, strategy, roadmap, and quarterly commitments for Secrets Manager.
• Make decisions regarding product prioritization and remain accountable for their outcomes.
• Engage in continuous customer discovery with developers, DevOps engineers, and platform teams.
• Analyze GitHub issues, community forums, data from closed-lost deals, and support signals.
• Create PRDs, PR/FAQs, and strategic narratives for executive-level decision-making.
• Present product strategies to executives, customers, and the board.
• Collaborate with the Senior Product Owner on maintaining backlog quality, sprint planning, delivery coordination, and making scoping decisions.
• Oversee the developer experience across SDKs, CLI, Kubernetes operator, Terraform provider, CI/CD integrations, and platform APIs.
• Facilitate agentic credential access for developers, including aspects like authentication, credential scoping, time constraints, and audit trails.
• Work closely with product marketing, sales, and solutions engineering on positioning, competitive responses, pricing and packaging input, and launch readiness.
• Instrument the product to monitor adoption, activation, integration usage, expansion, and retention.
• Coordinate with Private Access (PAM) and Agentic Innovation workstreams.
• Utilize AI tools for research, specification writing, competitive analysis, and prototyping.
• Minimum of 5 years in product management.
• Significant experience managing a developer-facing, DevOps, or infrastructure product.
• Proven track record of shipping products that developers choose to adopt.
• Ability to interpret API documentation, SDK specifications, and architecture diagrams.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, access policies, audit logging, and credential lifecycle management.
• Background in secrets management, PAM, or identity is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in roadmap ownership and prioritization.
• Comfort operating alongside a delivery partner instead of solely managing the backlog.
• Practical experience utilizing AI tools for research, specification writing, competitive analysis, and prototyping; familiarity with Anthropic Claude is preferred.
• Perspective on agentic workloads and credential security.
• Ability to write clearly and concisely for both technical and executive audiences.
• Strong collaboration skills with engineering leadership, product marketing, and sales teams.
• Comfortable working in public and with open-source products.
• Must reside in the U.S.
