Senior Product Manager, SAP Distribution – Transportation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of the vision and multi-year roadmap for the Distribution & Transportation product.

• Convert business strategy into scalable capabilities enabled by SAP.

• Prioritize projects based on their value, risk, complexity, and dependencies across functions.

• Ensure the roadmap is aligned with enterprise architecture and technology strategies.

• Collaborate with leaders in Logistics, Omnichannel, Retail, Sourcing, and Finance to pinpoint opportunities and challenges.

• Facilitate discovery workshops and sessions for business process blueprinting.

• Foster alignment between business and technology teams regarding scope and outcomes.

• Serve as the main point of accountability for the performance of the D&T product.

• Oversee the comprehensive delivery of initiatives related to SAP S/4 Distribution & Transportation.

• Manage change requests, enhancements, and significant transformation projects.

• Ensure the production of high-quality functional specifications that are in line with technical designs.

• Support integration efforts across SAP SD, MM, EWM, 3PL systems, warehouse automation, and transportation solutions.

• Govern testing standards (unit, functional, integration, UAT) and ensure effective second and third-level support models.

• Monitor system performance, user adoption, and the realization of business value.

• Promote automation and minimize non-value-added tasks.

• Manage relationships with vendors and implementation partners.

• Assist in developing the training strategy, ensuring readiness for releases, and promoting adoption among global logistics teams.

• Communicate updates about the product, the evolution of the roadmap, and the delivery of value.

• Lead extensive logistics transformation initiatives across global distribution networks.

• Expand SAP S/4 capabilities to accommodate new markets and channels.

• Integrate advanced warehouse automation and transportation technologies.

• Enhance omnichannel fulfillment along with global EWM and 3PL integrations.

• Contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives for ERP modernization.

• Drive innovative solutions in supply chain visibility and transportation optimization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in SAP ERP delivery, product management, or leadership in enterprise systems.

• More than 8 years of experience in Distribution & Transportation processes, preferably in retail, wholesale, or fashion.

• Strong functional knowledge of SAP Logistics and EWM.

• Experience with the implementation of SAP S/4HANA, FMS, or AFS.

• Background in integrating SAP with warehouse automation and 3PL systems.

• Experience with SAP GTS or ShipERP is considered a plus.

• Proven track record in defining product roadmaps and leading cross-functional teams in delivery.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at the executive level.

• Ability to prioritize complex initiatives in dynamic environments.

• Strategic mindset complemented by a focus on execution.
