This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +5 more states.
• Lead the daily implementation of the Revenue Cycle Management product roadmap focused on billing workflows.
• Enhance product strategy in collaboration with executive stakeholders by leveraging client insights, market dynamics, regulatory changes, operational performance, and product metrics.
• Create an AI- and automation-centric approach for revenue cycle operations.
• Spot opportunities for intelligent agents, workflow automation, predictive analytics, and rules-based processing while maintaining accuracy, explainability, auditability, and human oversight.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams, external development partners, and agencies across multiple workstreams.
• Define and prioritize product requirements, workflows, specifications, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Design user-friendly billing experiences for work queues, claim statuses, exceptions, recommended actions, and financial implications.
• Work alongside billing operations, implementation, support, and client-facing teams.
• Promote adoption and expansion throughout Experity’s network of over 5,700 urgent care clinics.
• Set and track product and operational KPIs.
• Utilize product analytics and operational data to uncover bottlenecks, payer trends, denials, and areas for improvement.
• Conduct interviews and workflow assessments with billers, coding teams, revenue cycle managers, practice administrators, and clients.
• Deliver product updates, business cases, performance insights, and roadmap suggestions to leaders and executive-level client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with compliance, security, legal, and operational stakeholders on healthcare, billing, privacy, and regulatory matters.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Design, Business, or a related field of study with relevant experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in product management.
• Proven history of successfully launching complex B2B SaaS or healthcare technology products.
• Extensive understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management, encompassing charge capture, coding, claim submission, clearinghouses, payer adjudication, remittance processing, denial management, accounts receivable, and payment posting.
• Experience in developing products for billers, coding experts, revenue cycle leaders, practice administrators, or healthcare operations teams.
• Passion for AI-driven products and workflow automation.
• Familiarity with large language models, intelligent agents, machine learning, and automation.
• Knowledge of balancing automation with human judgment in financial, regulatory, or reimbursement-risk workflows.
• Proficient in converting business rules, payer requirements, and operational processes into product specifications and software workflows.
• Comfortable collaborating with external development teams and distributed workforces.
• Strong analytical abilities using product, operational, and financial metrics.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to manage competing priorities and achieve results in complex product domains.
• Preferred: Background in urgent care, ambulatory care, physician billing, professional claims, or multi-location healthcare organizations.
• Preferred: Familiarity with agentic AI systems, MCP, retrieval-augmented generation, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Preferred: Experience designing work queues, exception-driven workflows, rules engines, or human-in-the-loop automation systems.
• Preferred: Knowledge of X12, HL7, FHIR, electronic remittance advice, and electronic data interchange workflows.
• Preferred: Experience with claim scrubbers, clearinghouses, payer portals, eligibility systems, coding tools, contract management, or payment platforms.
• Preferred: Understanding of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, medical necessity, payer policies, and causes of claim rejection or denial.
• Preferred: Experience with event-driven architectures, workflow orchestration, or real-time messaging systems.
• Preferred: Background in regulated sectors such as healthcare or financial services.
• Anticipate travel of up to 15% of the time.
