This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Take ownership of the strategic vision and roadmap for the Literacy State Adoption product portfolio.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Product Managers.
• Establish priorities across products and address resource trade-offs.
• Collaborate with content and research teams to integrate instructional research and literacy pedagogy into product development.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including market research, competitive analysis, product strategy and design, roadmap development, pricing, and launch.
• Formulate product strategy for state adoptions, pricing packages, sampling, and opportunities in open territories/large districts.
• Facilitate and support user interviews and classroom testing.
• Analyze customer feedback, product analytics, and competitive market data to make prioritization recommendations.
• Work alongside leaders in Content, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Design, and Operations.
• Articulate the portfolio-level product vision through research, market mapping, competitive analysis, market opportunities, and strategic development.
• Ensure coherence among instructional philosophy, content development, digital platform features, and customer experience.
• Identify and address strategic challenges impacting financial and technical objectives.
• Manage post-launch performance metrics, including adoption, usage, performance, retention, and renewal rates.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in education publishing.
• Proven success in product development, digital product management, curriculum development, and/or project management.
• At least 3 years of experience directly leading and developing Product Managers or equivalent product professionals.
• Strong alignment with Great Minds’ knowledge-building instructional design and pedagogy.
• Ability to define strategy and set priorities across a multi-product portfolio.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, engaging with customers, sales, content development, product marketing, and senior leadership.
• Proficient analytical thinking and decision-making capabilities.
• Solid business acumen, including ROI evaluation, strategic pricing, and resource prioritization.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
