Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Define and convey the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities for designated Greenphire Clinical Finance products and capabilities.

• Recognize high-value opportunities and craft a cohesive experience from study planning to payment execution.

• Collaborate with sponsors, CROs, sites, commercial teams, and internal subject matter experts to identify workflow challenges and confirm customer needs.

• Lead discovery efforts at the initiative level and transform needs into problem statements, outcomes, scope, success metrics, dependencies, and roadmap decisions.

• Oversee, mentor, and develop Product Owners.

• Assist Product Owners with market and customer context, rationale for the roadmap, decision-making support, resolving ambiguities, and facilitating trade-offs.

• Propose product investments to executive leadership based on customer insights, market analysis, business cases, and ROI considerations.

• Work together with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software, prepare for launches, and enhance sales enablement.

• Engage throughout the software development lifecycle from discovery to delivery, release, adoption, and ongoing improvement.

• Set success metrics and utilize product data, customer feedback, and operational insights to adjust priorities.

• Assist in customer discussions, demonstrations, implementations, sales opportunities, competitive analysis, and thought leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a suitable combination of education, work experience, and/or training.

• Direct experience with budgeting for clinical trials, clinical pricing, investigator grant budgets, budget negotiations, benchmarking, site payment operations, or closely related clinical finance activities.

• Proven experience in implementing, configuring, launching, or operationalizing technology within a pharmaceutical sponsor, biotechnology sponsor, CRO, clinical trial, or similar operational setting.

• Experience working closely with sponsor study finance, clinical operations, outsourcing, procurement, site management, or similar clinical trial stakeholders.

• Formal product management experience, including overseeing software or SaaS products through discovery, strategy, roadmap development, prioritization, and delivery in collaboration with Engineering.

• Experience owning or contributing to enterprise clinical trial software throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Experience in implementing or operationalizing Site Payments, a clinical payment platform, or associated sponsor-side payment processes.

• Familiarity with Budgeting & Benchmarking, fair market value data, site budget creation, sponsor/site negotiations, or integrated budget-to-payment workflows.

• Experience launching AI-driven use cases, offerings, or product features, which include defining customer value, facilitating cross-functional readiness and enablement, supporting risk-aware rollouts, and fostering customer adoption.

• Experience delivering products or solutions used across multiple countries, currencies, sponsors, CROs, sites, and payee models.

• Comprehensive understanding of sponsor and site workflows related to clinical pricing, budgeting, benchmarking, contracting, and payment operations.

• Experienced people manager with a proven ability to mentor and develop team members.

• Capability to influence cross-functional teams and make informed decisions in a complex, matrixed environment.

• Strong analytical, strategic, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Typically, 8 or more years of relevant experience.
