Senior Manager, Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Establish the product vision, roadmap, and success criteria that align with the DT strategy, functional priorities, and enterprise architecture standards.

• Act as the primary business representative for the DT agile team.

• Own and manage the product backlog, which includes epics, features, and user stories complete with acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Developers, Architects, and Functional SMEs during sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery.

• Work in partnership with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other business units to gather requirements and confirm user needs.

• Ensure that products adhere to DT governance, cybersecurity regulations, cloud and data platform standards, and compliance requirements.

• Lead product demonstrations, sprint reviews, and sessions to engage stakeholders.

• Monitor the health, adoption, and performance metrics of the product.

• Identify opportunities for enhancements and continuous improvement.

• Support deployment planning, change management, and user enablement to facilitate release adoption.

• Exhibit CORE behaviors and utilize CORE tools to promote reliability, efficiency, and ongoing improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field with over 10 years of relevant work experience; OR an Advanced Degree with at least 7 years of applicable work experience.

• More than 5 years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Digital Technology, or similar IT roles.

• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum or SAFe) is essential.

• Strong capability to translate business needs into technical requirements and clear user stories.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across matrixed teams.

• Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and prioritization abilities.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Preferred: experience supporting digital products in aerospace, manufacturing, or regulated industries.

• Preferred: knowledge of P&W enterprise systems or functional processes.

• Preferred: certifications such as CSPO, SAFe POPM, or similar credentials.

• Preferred: familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), enterprise applications (SAP, PLM, MES), or analytics/data technologies.

• Preferred: experience with ACE, CORE, or methodologies focused on continuous improvement.
