This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of lifecycle communications for current users from start to finish across email, SMS, and push notifications, encompassing strategy, sequencing, copywriting, and execution.
• Manage the promotion and placement of new features within the product.
• Collaborate with feature Product Managers on lifecycle and in-app promotion strategies for new projects.
• Directly oversee a selection of features where product insight will guide the roadmap.
• Review and improve redundant, overlapping, or outdated lifecycle communications.
• Lead the promotion and in-product placement of partners, sponsored content, and promotional materials.
• Analyze conversion rates, funnel drop-off, and revenue attribution for each flow.
• Prioritize upcoming lifecycle and in-product promotion initiatives based on their potential impact.
• Identify gaps in lifecycle communications and in-product promotions and advocate for their development.
• Collaborate daily with teams across Product, Design, and Engineering.
• Report directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations.
• Over 3 years of experience in a fast-paced product management and/or marketing lifecycle role at a startup.
• More than 3 years of experience utilizing Klaviyo or a similar lifecycle/CRM platform.
• Proven experience in managing product features or a roadmap end-to-end.
• Proficient in writing product specifications and collaborating directly with engineering teams.
• Regular use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or equivalent.
• Comfortable navigating Figma at a level that allows for design interpretation and translation.
• Strong judgment regarding lifecycle and growth strategies.
• Ability to independently determine effective messaging and placement to enhance retention.
• Exceptional skills in copywriting, sequencing, and marketing-channel strategies.
• Semi-technical understanding of event data and pipelines.
• Capable of specifying the metrics, attributes, and events required from engineering.
• Comfortable establishing lifecycle systems on a new platform.
• Familiarity with Klaviyo and AWS/SES or similar systems.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines.
• Resourceful in startup settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across different time zones.
• Flexibility to work beyond standard 9-to-5 hours as necessary.
