This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the strategic direction and outcomes for designated Life Sciences markets and portfolio.
• Establish market segments, buyer personas, and relevant use cases.
• Perform market and competitive analysis, transforming insights into actionable strategies.
• Assess and expand Total Addressable Market (TAM), Serviceable Available Market (SAM), and Serviceable Obtainable Market (SOM).
• Discover growth opportunities and strategic investments through innovation, expansion, and partnerships.
• Maintain the product roadmap, converting strategies into epics and features.
• Collaborate with engineering on planning, trade-offs, and release schedules.
• Develop precise requirements for the development team.
• Ensure high-quality SaaS delivery and approve product releases.
• Formulate business cases, value propositions, and pricing strategies.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams.
• Assist in positioning, messaging, demonstrations, and proposal development.
• Engage with customers for validation, discovery, and feedback collection.
• Utilize AI and Generative AI tools to enhance product development.
• Assess customer AI requests for feasibility and potential value.
• Work alongside engineering to ensure responsible AI delivery.
• Guarantee that AI features produce measurable impacts.
• Act as the accountable owner for product outcomes.
• Independently lead discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and communicate any product, market, or delivery risks.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Biological Sciences, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years in a software product management or product ownership capacity.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Life Sciences safety.
• Required direct experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
• Proven experience delivering SaaS products in complex or regulated environments.
• Background in supporting go-to-market initiatives and closely collaborating with Sales and Marketing.
• Experience in participating or leading the release of AI or Generative AI product features.
• Familiarity with Life Sciences laboratories, including research and biotech organizations, biobanks, CROs, pharmaceutical development, and manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of regulated lab environments, including GxP and GMP principles.
• Knowledge of FDA regulatory frameworks relevant to lab systems.
• Awareness of biospecimen lifecycle and chain of custody practices.
• Understanding of clinical trial sample management.
• Experience in product development within a Quality Management System (QMS).
• Familiarity with validation, change control, documentation, and audit readiness processes.
• Excellent strategic synthesis and commercial acumen.
• Strong communication and decision-making abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Technical fluency in SaaS and software development lifecycles.
• Knowledge of regulated laboratory environments and their operations.
• Comfort in making decisions with incomplete information.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building capabilities.
• An MBA and/or a Master’s degree in Health Administration, Information Management, or Computer Science is preferred.
