This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in leading the comprehensive development of life insurance products, which include Whole Life, Permanent Life, Term, Indexed Universal Life, Final Expense, Disability Insurance, and various insurance riders.
• Collaborate with carrier partners to introduce new products and guarantee seamless integration within the wider product framework.
• Engage cross-functionally with engineering, design teams, internal stakeholders, and third parties to comprehend policy administration systems and their significance in the life insurance lifecycle.
• Aid in the integration of policy administration systems and other carrier systems to ensure efficient product implementation, data flow, and operational efficacy.
• Utilize ACORD standards to facilitate standardized insurance data exchange, ensuring alignment and compliance across all systems.
• Evaluate new product prospects and insurance distribution channels.
• Contribute to the development and integration of eApplication systems.
• Support the creation of policy contract systems for accurate, efficient, and compliant generation of policy documents and contracts.
• Assist in formulating a medium- and long-term vision for specific product areas at Ethos.
• Engage in product discovery and conduct experiments to validate hypotheses.
• Enhance the life insurance product portfolio for accessibility, simplicity, and business impact.
• At least 5 years of experience in product management.
• A proven history of contributing to the launch of life insurance products and achieving measurable results.
• Extensive knowledge of the complete life insurance lifecycle, including policy administration systems, underwriting, and policy issuance.
• Familiarity with ACORD standards.
• Practical experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining eApplication systems.
• Expertise in policy contract creation systems.
• Experience in integrating policy administration systems and other carrier systems.
• Familiarity with life insurance illustration platforms.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Ability to scale and enhance products, driving usage and customer satisfaction.
• A growth mindset with experience in experimentation and data analysis.
• Solid understanding of current product best practices.
• Capacity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.
• Base salary ranging from $126,000 to $222,000 annually.
