Senior Product Manager – Identity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and refine the product vision and roadmap for GEICO’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform, which encompasses authentication, authorization, federation, privileged access, and identity lifecycle management.

• Convert intricate business and security requirements into straightforward product strategies and actionable features.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, legal, compliance, and business partners to provide scalable and secure IAM capabilities.

• Prioritize features and enhancements based on risk, impact, and effort, utilizing data and input from stakeholders.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and evolving threat landscapes.

• Lead cross-functional teams throughout the entire product lifecycle, from discovery and design to delivery and evaluation.

• Influence and align executive stakeholders regarding product direction and outcomes.

• Mentor and guide junior product managers within the IAM field.

• Ensure that IAM solutions adhere to regulatory and compliance standards, including GDPR and CCPA.

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), track performance, and enhance IAM services for usability, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in product management.

• A minimum of 3 years dedicated to identity and access management or security-related fields.

• Extensive understanding of IAM protocols and technologies such as SAML, OIDC, OAuth, MFA, SCIM, PAM, and RBAC/ABAC.

• Proven experience in delivering IAM solutions at an enterprise scale (B2C and/or B2E).

• Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to align product roadmaps to business objectives and security requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives in complex, regulated environments.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Relevant IAM certifications and/or experience in the insurance industry are advantageous.
