Senior Product Manager – Healthcare GRC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary authority on healthcare Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) requirements, encompassing regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management, third-party and vendor risk, policy management, audit, as well as ethics and compliance programs.

• Develop comprehensive user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements while collaborating with Product Managers to prioritize these elements.

• Convert regulatory obligations such as HIPAA, HITRUST, CMS, OIG compliance program guidance, FDA mandates, and state-specific regulations into actionable product features.

• Facilitate customer and prospective client discovery sessions, workshops, and demonstrations.

• Assess product designs and prototypes against established healthcare industry standards and offer constructive feedback to the UX and Engineering teams.

• Track regulatory updates, industry trends, and competitive advancements, sharing valuable insights throughout the organization.

• Assist sales and customer success teams during evaluations, implementations, and contract renewals.

• Contribute to the creation of product documentation, training resources, blogs, webinars, and presentations at conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, risk management, auditing, or a similar GRC role within health systems, payers, pharmaceutical companies, medical device firms, or healthcare service organizations.

• Solid understanding of healthcare regulations and frameworks, including HIPAA, the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and HITRUST or equivalent security frameworks.

• Proven capability to craft clear user stories, requirements, or process documentation.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate regulatory concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience directly interacting with customers or prospects during discovery sessions, workshops, or presentations.

• Familiarity with GRC software platforms or experience working alongside them in a compliance or risk capacity is preferred.

• Knowledge of Agile product development methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Aha! is preferred.

• Relevant certifications such as CHC, CHPC, CIA, CISA, CRMA, or CHRC are advantageous.

• Background in product management, business analysis, or solution consulting is preferred.

• Experience working with enterprise customers across various healthcare sub-sectors is preferred.
