Senior Product Manager, Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the self-service journey, encompassing signup, trial, activation, and monetization.

• Analyze product usage and event data to pinpoint significant growth opportunities and implement ongoing test-and-learn cycles throughout the funnel.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Data teams to outline, sequence, and deploy experiments, addressing dependencies at an early stage.

• Establish success metrics and link roadmap choices to customer and revenue results.

• Work within a small, self-sufficient team, managing the roadmap and its outcomes.

• Enhance signup, trial, and activation processes to expand GitLab’s customer base.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in product management, preferably owning a self-serve or product-led growth funnel from start to finish.

• Solid technical knowledge of how software is developed, packaged, deployed, and maintained.

• Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in SQL.

• A hypothesis-driven mindset for product decision-making.

• Experienced in experimentation and A/B testing, with a history of delivering frequent, measurable product enhancements.

• Comfortable working directly with production usage and event data.

• Highly autonomous and practical, with a strong inclination toward action.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to work asynchronously in a distributed team environment.

• Preferred: Experience with acquisition loops, activation loops, and product-qualified leads (PQLs).

• Preferred: Previous experience at a Product-Led Growth company.

• Preferred: Familiarity with GitLab, Git, or Git workflows.

• Preferred: Experience in developing developer tools or DevOps products.

• Preferred: History of engaging with customers in a B2B context.
