Senior Product Manager – Email & Publishing Tools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for key product surfaces, overseeing everything from opportunity identification to product launch.

• Assist creators in producing and distributing impactful, visually striking, and brand-aligned content at scale.

• Manage the primary publishing platform, which includes email templates, landing pages, forms, newsletter sites, and related tools.

• Ensure alignment within the company regarding the broader product vision and strategy.

• Evaluate product impact and outcomes effectively.

• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Success, and Sales teams.

• Partner across different functions to synchronize product experiences with go-to-market initiatives.

• Familiarize yourself with Kit’s product ecosystem, Builders surfaces, and tools for measuring content quality and creator output.

• Establish product rituals and conduct meetings with customers.

• Release features in collaboration with engineering, design, and marketing teams.

• Formulate a perspective on industry strategy and determine the success criteria for the team and product space.

• Communicate progress towards objectives to engineers and the wider company.

• Lead significant initiatives from their inception to successful launch.

• Make a positive impact on customers and the overall business.


⛳️ Requirements

• 6-9+ years of experience in product management with substantial ownership of a core, revenue-generating product area.

• Demonstrated success in developing high-quality, scalable software, preferably including creation tools, editors, or content/publishing platforms.

• Extensive experience in online content creation.

• Worked closely with design to shape the long-term vision for a product area, with hands-on involvement in both craft and visual refinement.

• Utilized data-driven decision-making and quantitative analysis.

• Possess strong product judgment and prioritization skills.

• Exhibited systems thinking and built for scalability.

• Collaborated deeply with design on craft and visual quality.

• Influenced and collaborated across functions effectively.

• High proficiency in AI; comfortable using AI tools daily and assessing product applications.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated high ownership and autonomy in uncertain environments.

• Ability to balance short-term achievements with long-term vision.

• A systems thinker who focuses on establishing foundations, not just features.

• Low ego and a strong collaborator who can influence without formal authority.

• Intellectually curious with a strong inclination towards learning.

• A clear communicator capable of articulating strategy, trade-offs, and results.

• Customer-oriented while also maintaining business discipline.

• Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail in craft.

• Bonus points for expertise in publishing or content creation.

• Must be able to maintain consistent overlap with Engineering, Product, and Design teams across Europe and the U.S., including availability during specified Eastern Time windows.
