This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Enhance the vision and roadmap for Empower’s digital brokerage experience, including Stock Plan Services, current brokerage functionalities, and the native Empower investing experience.
• Establish product strategy that integrates Empower Personal Dashboard, OptionTrax, Pershing’s NetX Investor, and emerging native brokerage features.
• Identify opportunities to reduce fragmentation across workplace equity, brokerage accounts, and customers’ overall financial lives.
• Design and develop next-generation brokerage capabilities based on customer expectations and best practices from digital investing platforms.
• Oversee end-to-end experiences for stock plan participants, encompassing equity awards, holdings, transactions, account experiences, and transitions into broader investing and wealth-building pathways.
• Convert brokerage, equity compensation, operational, regulatory, and technological requirements into straightforward customer experiences.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, research, operations, compliance, business teams, and external providers from discovery to launch and optimization.
• Retain ownership of the end customer experience while collaborating with brokerage, clearing, custody, stock plan, and technology providers.
• Perform qualitative research, usability testing, behavioral analysis, competitive research, and gather direct customer feedback.
• Define and monitor success metrics related to adoption, engagement, satisfaction, transaction behavior, asset retention and consolidation, and digital experience.
• Employ experimentation, analytics, rapid validation, and customer feedback to enhance the product.
• Manage the complete product lifecycle from problem definition and strategy through requirements, prioritization, delivery, launch, measurement, and iteration.
• Shape Empower’s long-term investing strategy by pinpointing new capabilities and experiences.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 7 years of product management experience, including substantial experience in building and leading intricate digital consumer financial products.
• Directly relevant experience in digital brokerage, Stock Plan Services, equity compensation, or investing products.
• Strong comprehension of customer journeys and the infrastructure that supports brokerage and equity compensation experiences.
• Experience in designing digital experiences for stock plan participants, with familiarity with equity awards and the employee equity compensation lifecycle.
• In-depth understanding of brokerage customer experiences, including account opening, funding, positions and balances, trading, transactions, statements, servicing, and portfolio experiences.
• Capability to simplify technically and operationally complex financial products into user-friendly customer experiences.
• Experience collaborating across internal platforms and with third-party providers.
• Proven ownership of the entire product lifecycle from customer discovery and product strategy through execution, launch, measurement, and optimization.
• Strong product judgment and a passion for exceptional consumer product design.
• Excellent analytical skills utilizing both quantitative and qualitative insights.
• Outstanding communication and storytelling abilities.
• Capacity to influence senior leaders and align cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong customer orientation with the capability to resolve complex customer and business challenges.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available, including CPT/OPT.
• Preferred: 3+ years of directly relevant experience in Stock Plan Services, brokerage, or investing.
• Preferred: experience with equity compensation products, direct-to-consumer brokerage, third-party brokerage infrastructure, regulated financial services, fintech, and emerging investing trends.
• An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is advantageous.
