This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product strategy and roadmap for Acorns’ Community surface.

• Identify, rank, and implement engagement and growth strategies.

• Facilitate large-scale organic acquisition through engagement loops, virality, and the formation of user habits.

• Establish product direction and define key product initiatives.

• Manage and report on metrics such as Daily Active Users (DAU), sharing behaviors, referral rates, retention, and habit formation.

• Create an experimentation framework by formulating hypotheses, conducting tests, analyzing outcomes, and scaling successful methods.

• Transform user insights, competitive analysis, and data into a prioritized product backlog.

• Liaise with partner teams and connect the Community team to the wider Acorns organization.

• Collaborate with a Senior Product Designer and a Senior engineering team.

• Oversee features from initial concept to a fully launched product serving millions of users.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing growth or engagement products within a social, gaming, or rapidly expanding consumer company.

• A track record of influencing DAU, retention, or viral coefficients.

• Hands-on experience with k-factor, referral loops, engagement mechanics, or social graph functionalities.

• Proficient in executing A/B tests from start to finish.

• Capability to formulate hypotheses, design tests, interpret findings, and make informed decisions.

• Proficiency in writing SQL to independently extract data.

• Experience in delivering products or features from vague briefs to market readiness.

• Ability to work effectively within small teams that have limited resources.

• Skilled in advocating for and defending unconventional product decisions to leadership.
