Senior Product Manager – Code Translation, Developer Tooling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the roadmap for a specific outcome area, guiding it from discovery through delivery and iteration.

• Engage in customer discovery alongside engineers, architects, tech leads, and solutions engineering teams.

• Quickly acclimate to unfamiliar technical domains and integrate insights into product direction.

• Collaborate with the Engineering team on technical trade-offs, implementation strategies, and prioritization decisions.

• Develop and manage a smaller roadmap that supports the overarching platform roadmap.

• Create clear and concise Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).

• Balance customer value, technical complexity, and speed when making prioritization decisions.

• Serve as the representative for the outcome area in cross-functional and customer-facing discussions.

• Gradually extend the charter into related pipelines and scenarios over time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in owning software products from discovery to launch within a technical B2B, enterprise, or platform context.

• A minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience focused on developing technical software products.

• Capability to swiftly learn new industries, technologies, and customer domains.

• Strong skills in customer discovery and user research methodologies.

• Proficiency in translating customer insights into actionable roadmap decisions.

• Comfort navigating ambiguous and fast-paced environments.

• Familiarity with language semantics, toolchains, or hardware constraints.

• Proven MVP (Minimum Viable Product) thinking.

• Self-awareness regarding the limits of your expertise, with a history of quickly learning new technical areas.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Must successfully pass a standard background check.

• Preferred: experience in developing developer tools, platform products, compilers, embedded systems, or other technically advanced products.

• Preferred: direct experience working with highly technical customers, engineers, and domain specialists.

• Preferred: exposure to industries such as automotive, kernel development, aerospace, semiconductor, or regulated/safety-critical sectors.

• Preferred: experience in bringing new products from concept to launch within early-stage or high-growth environments.

• U.S. Citizenship may be necessary for particular project assignments that require security clearance.
