Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product roadmap and priorities for a classified marketplace platform.

• Translate business requirements into clear specifications, collaborating closely with engineers on Java, Spring, and Dropwizard services.

• Make informed product decisions considering the implications of MySQL and MongoDB data models on features.

• Organize and manage roadmap activities across a predominantly microservices architecture hosted on GCP, including the current monolith.

• Lead AI-driven initiatives from initial discovery to final delivery.

• Assist product, sales, and marketing teams in integrating AI into their workflows and measure the outcomes.

• Work collaboratively within a distributed team to develop technologies that address business challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Product Manager, preferably in marketplaces or digital platforms.

• Proven track record of launching products from inception to market.

• Strong technical understanding of backend services and how data models and architecture influence product decisions.

• Familiarity with technologies including Java, Spring, Dropwizard, MySQL, and MongoDB.

• Experience within a microservices framework, particularly involving legacy systems or monolith transitions.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Capability to make decisions with limited information and proactively advance them.

• Practical experience with AI coding assistants like Claude Code or AI-assisted software development is a plus.

• Background in classified marketplaces or other multi-market digital platforms is advantageous.

• Experience in promoting AI adoption among non-engineering teams is beneficial.
