Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Guide the vision. Take ownership of the roadmap: determine where to allocate resources, substantiate every decision with customer insights and data, and maintain a coherent direction across all active projects.

• Identify future opportunities. Look beyond the current product to discover Tango's next major initiative, building conviction through customer discussions, evidence collection, and small-scale tests prior to making significant commitments.

• Engage with our customers. Maintain a continuous discovery rhythm, represent the voice of the customer within the organization, and translate user requests into genuine needs. You will be the person with the deepest understanding of our customers.

• Uphold standards and evaluate impact. Establish criteria for what constitutes "up to par" for our releases, conduct post-launch assessments, and provide an honest evaluation of whether we achieved our objectives.

• Manage rollout strategies. Oversee launches from PRD to market introduction: planning sequences, packaging, enabling teams, and managing the post-launch feedback loop.

• Spearhead our AI and MCP platform initiatives. Define how Tango integrates into the agentic ecosystem and deliver AI features that address real workflows, not mere demonstrations.

• Collaborate with an exceptional design team. Create comprehensive PRDs and empower three senior designers to elevate them beyond your expectations. They thrive on discovery and product innovation, allowing you to excel alongside them while managing prioritization, rollout, and commercial discipline.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years in software product roles, demonstrating a history of scaling products that customers truly appreciate.

• Experience at two or more companies or products; we believe that exposure to multiple perspectives enhances insight.

• A strong commitment to customer discovery: your best work is built upon genuine user interactions, and you can provide evidence of this.

• Systematic and data-oriented: proficient in product analytics, comfortable in designing experiments, and capable of independently accessing the data you require.

• Persistent follow-through: you maintain continuity across various projects and ensure all aspects are addressed.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication: you provide clear, structured guidance and can unify executives, engineers, and customers around a common narrative.

• Confidence to act as the senior product voice in discussions, possessing the judgment to make decisions amidst uncertainty and the humility to pivot when data suggests a new direction.

• Bonus: experience in launching AI-driven products or working with MCP; a genuine passion for the cutting edge of generative AI, rather than just keeping pace; experience in mentoring or coaching others; familiarity with B2B SaaS for both self-serve users and enterprise clients; involvement in growth and monetization strategies (pricing, packaging, trials).
