This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and spearhead the multi-year product strategy for Sophia Learning's online education platform.
• Establish and advocate for product priorities through evidence-based approaches, structured options, and trade-off analyses.
• Direct the organization’s AI product vision and roadmap across various product domains.
• Lead initiatives in machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI for Workforce Edge applications.
• Provide guidance to executive leadership by converting technical opportunities into business value.
• Conduct customer discussions, user research, market analysis, and behavioral data assessments.
• Manage initiatives from inception to completion, including post-launch impact measurement.
• Oversee the AI pipeline product strategy encompassing data ingestion, model training, inference, and feedback loops.
• Supervise scalable, governed data ingestion pipelines, schemas, data lineage, and security frameworks.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data/Analytics, and AI teams on semantic data layers and metadata governance.
• Mentor and guide Product Managers.
• Represent Sophia Learning as a thought leader in the AI domain for online education, ethical AI, and data-driven learning experiences.
• 6+ years of product management experience in SaaS, data platforms, or AI-focused product environments.
• Experience in EdTech product management is preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate with executive stakeholders and technical leaders to achieve transformative business results.
• Established track record of leading product initiatives, including customer-facing AI projects from concept to implementation.
• Familiarity with cloud data ecosystems (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and current data and AI tools.
• Experience with SQL/behavioral analytics tools is preferred.
• Proven ability to set product direction, encompassing ownership of product vision and multi-year roadmaps.
• Demonstrated success in enhancing value for an established user base at scale and introducing new growth capabilities.
• Direct experience in conducting customer interviews or usability testing is preferred.
• Prior experience in education technology is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science/Analytics, Business/Economics, Design, Cognitive Science, Learning Science, or a related field.
• Generative AI Solution Development certificate is preferred.
• Coursework in product strategy or continuous discovery is preferred.
• Must be able to travel occasionally if business needs arise.
• Ability to meet critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication requirements.
• Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs necessitate.
• Capable of accessing information using a computer.
