This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of and enhance a prioritized product roadmap for Lumen’s commercial solar and storage marketplace.
• Develop features from initial discovery to implementation-ready prototypes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Leadership to integrate feedback and facilitate aligned decision-making.
• Establish success metrics prior to feature launches and monitor outcomes after deployment.
• Conduct ongoing user research with building owners, solar developers, and internal stakeholders.
• Report directly to the Head of Engineering.
• Provide an outstanding clean energy transaction experience for building owners as well as solar and battery developers.
• Contribute to the development of user research, product marketing, design, and UX practices.
• Minimum of 5 years of product management experience in a high-growth or startup setting.
• Proven track record of managing end-to-end product cycles, from discovery to delivery and measurement.
• Proficient in AI-assisted product development workflows, including the use of LLMs for prototyping, research synthesis, and specification writing.
• Strong visual and user experience sensibility.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• High level of agency and influence, including ownership of the roadmap and prioritization despite resource constraints.
• Strong business acumen with an ability to link product decisions to business outcomes.
• Proficient in user research methodologies, including conducting customer interviews and synthesizing qualitative data.
• US work authorization is required.

• A cover letter detailing how your skills and past experiences align with this role is required.
• Familiarity with dynamics of two-sided marketplaces is a plus.
• Experience in commercial real estate, legal tech, or other complex transaction-oriented industries is desirable.
• Prior experience in client-facing roles such as customer success or sales is beneficial.
• Experience as the first or only product manager at a company is considered an advantage.
