This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify unmet market needs within the healthcare sector and devise strategic product capabilities.
• Establish and communicate the overall product strategy and positioning for Smile’s platform components.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, leadership, and other stakeholders to design, develop, market, sell, and implement new products.
• Work alongside Technical Product Managers to prioritize tasks, provide market insights, and convert business requirements into development backlogs.
• Perform competitive research and market analysis to pinpoint key differentiators.
• Assist in creating product communication materials, sales strategies, training, and internal/external demonstrations.
• Conduct webinars and present at industry events to enhance market awareness and adoption.
• Promote product features and roadmaps to internal teams and external clients.
• Facilitate customer discussions to validate strategic direction and clarify healthcare solutions.
• Advocate for healthcare data product capabilities for payer and provider workflows.
• Over 7 years of experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, Health Informatics, or a related field focused on driving software product development.
• Extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry, with a proven track record of identifying market gaps and delivering complex software solutions or platforms in healthcare settings.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across sales, marketing, design, and engineering teams.
• Proven consultative experience, including the ability to facilitate meetings and communications with executive clients, prospects, and partners.
• Strong critical thinking skills with a creative, solution-focused approach.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with excellent time management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Technical knowledge and understanding of healthcare interoperability (FHIR, HL7 v2, CDA).
• Familiarity with terminology standards (LOINC, SNOMED, ICD-10).
• Knowledge of RESTful API standards and modern stack architectures (Java, Kubernetes, Postgres, Kafka).
• Experience working with engineering and architecture teams in cloud-native environments.
• Understanding of CI/CD or Software Release cycles.
