This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of ensuring that solutions are both valuable for customers and viable for the business.
• Implement and contribute to the product vision and strategy for the Core Athlete experience.
• Convert product strategy into a phased roadmap while promoting a shared understanding among teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and sustain a deep understanding of the business, athletes, families, behavioral data, and product technology.
• Manage the backlog and create user stories and acceptance criteria that clarify the underlying rationale.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and cross-functional business teams throughout the discovery and delivery phases.
• Conduct experiments to evaluate solutions prior to allocating resources on the roadmap.
• Monitor industry trends and the competitive environment in athlete recruiting.
• Leverage AI for product opportunities, research, analysis, and enhancing workflow efficiency.
• Establish stakeholder trust across Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Support by utilizing data and clear narratives.
• Maintain accountability for the metrics associated with the roadmap and business outcomes.
• Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, preferably with consumer-facing or user-facing products in a sprint-based, cross-functional team setting.
• Proven capability to conduct product discovery, identify problems, test solutions with real users, and phase out unsupported concepts.
• Proficient SQL skills with the ability to extract and interpret data independently.
• Experience working directly alongside engineers and designers as peers throughout the discovery and delivery processes.
• A strong curiosity regarding the business, customers, data, and technology.
• Familiarity with AI tools in daily operations, including an understanding of their limitations and possibilities.
• Track record of transforming ambiguous, cross-functional challenges into a clear, prioritized backlog.
• Demonstrated capability to convert complex business requirements into product strategies and roadmaps.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, influencing, and alignment skills with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to craft a compelling one-page narrative for skeptical executives.
• Highly self-driven and resourceful; capable of leading strategy and execution.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Comfortable defending positions using data while remaining open to alternative perspectives.
