This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more country.
• Take charge of the product strategy and daily operational decisions for Family Health Checker and Face2Gene.
• Determine how clinician decision support presents phenotype findings, prioritized genes, syndrome considerations, evidence, and source tags.
• Create parent-facing result language, user guidance, consent moments, safety messaging, and escalation instructions.
• Assist in developing next-generation visual-AI results, symptom assessment, and health-history features.
• Design the handoff process from Family Health Checker to Face2Gene along with the clinician-ready information package.
• Enable the deployment of Family Health Checker through health-system portals, QR codes, digital front doors, and white-label implementations.
• Collaborate with engineering and health systems on PDF and structured export, FHIR exchange, single sign-on, and Epic pathways.
• Plan non-code deployment considerations, including invitations, output ownership, privacy and security reviews, and measurable Phase 1 scopes.
• Configure routing and documentation for pediatrics, developmental pediatrics, genetics, telehealth, testing, and follow-up.
• Support the creation of referral packets, draft medical necessity letters, ICD-10 support, requisition readiness, and laboratory-ordering integrations.
• Represent the product during clinical and regulatory reviews, usability testing, and AI model performance gates.
• Set evidence standards for product claims in collaboration with AI and validation leadership.
• Manage metrics, instrumentation, event taxonomies, dashboards, and outcome measurements from intake through clinician action.
• Monitor post-market model alignment, escalation routing, and user experience drift.
• Engage with clinical advisors and design partners, translating feedback into product decisions.
• Analyze clinical workflows, audit product screens, identify pathway gaps, implement product improvements, launch deployments, and establish clinical review processes.
• Minimum of 4 years in product management, including experience owning at least one product from definition to live use with real users.
• Working knowledge of healthcare; experience in developing software for clinical, diagnostic, or patient-facing settings, or the ability to quickly learn a regulated, high-stakes domain.
• Sound judgment regarding appropriate software claims.
• Ability to collaborate with clinical, scientific, or regulatory experts and translate insights into product decisions.
• Comfort with product prioritization and the ability to reject unsuitable releases.
• Familiarity with FHIR and HL7 v2 is recommended.
• Experience with major EHRs such as Epic, Oracle Health, or athenahealth in production environments is recommended.
• Understanding of health-system rollout stakeholders, security reviews, training, and operational readiness.
• Knowledge of AI calibration, rationale transparency, and training-data limitations.
• Experience with regulated software quality systems, including design controls, intended use, risk management, human factors, change control, and post-market surveillance.
• Familiarity with FDA guidelines on clinical decision support software and predetermined change control plans.
• Knowledge of HPO terms, phenotype-driven test selection, letters of medical necessity, and payer documentation.
• Exposure to genetics, pediatrics, developmental pediatrics, diagnostics, or lab ordering is preferred.
• Ability to design workflows within a time budget and assess operational costs.
• Experience managing metric trees and event taxonomies through instrumentation.
• Proven track record of managing design partner or clinical advisory groups.
• A clinical background is welcome but not mandatory; a clinical license/career is not required.
