Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of ensuring that solutions deliver value to customers and are feasible for the business.

• Implement and contribute to the product vision and strategy for the Core Athlete experience.

• Convert product vision and strategy into a structured, phased roadmap.

• Promote a shared understanding of product vision and strategy among teams and stakeholders.

• Develop and sustain knowledge of the business, athletes, families, behavioral data, and product technology.

• Manage the backlog by writing user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate with design and engineering teams from the discovery phase through to delivery.

• Conduct experiments to evaluate solutions prior to allocating resources in the roadmap.

• Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape in athlete recruitment.

• Identify product opportunities for AI and incorporate AI into research, analysis, and daily operations.

• Establish trust and align stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Support.

• Measure metrics related to the roadmap and business outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, preferably with consumer-facing or user-facing products in a sprint-based, cross-functional team environment.

• Proven ability to conduct product discovery, define problems, test solutions with real users, and abandon unsupported concepts.

• Proficient SQL skills with the ability to extract and interpret personal data.

• Experience collaborating directly with engineers and designers as colleagues.

• A genuine curiosity regarding the business, customers, data, and technology.

• Proficient in AI and comfortable utilizing AI tools in daily activities.

• A successful history of transforming ambiguous, cross-functional challenges into a well-prioritized backlog.

• Demonstrated capability to convert complex business requirements into product strategies and roadmaps.

• Outstanding communication and storytelling abilities.

• Proficient in writing compelling one-page narratives that influence senior stakeholders.

• Highly self-motivated and resourceful.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Comfortable defending decisions with data while remaining receptive to alternative perspectives.
