Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product roadmap for the Helius developer platform.

• Balance customer demands, infrastructure investments, and new product initiatives.

• Engage with trading firms, wallets, and indexers to comprehend their architectures, latency requirements, and product needs.

• Utilize Helius products directly for prototypes, sample integrations, addressing customer issues, and enhancing developer-facing tools.

• Monitor streaming providers and data API vendors, converting insights into positioning, pricing, and build/kill decisions.

• Establish delivery semantics, ordering, SLAs, and trade-offs regarding performance, cost, and simplicity.

• Create specifications and decision memos for senior engineers.

• Manage platform pricing and packaging, encompassing enterprise agreements and usage-based models.

• Oversee end-to-end launches, including positioning, documentation, migration guides, changelogs, and communication with developers.

• Measure and monitor adoption, activation, usage growth, churn signals, latency, reliability SLOs, and revenue metrics.

• Develop suitable product processes for a senior remote team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product management focusing on technical, developer-oriented products.

• Engineering background with practical coding skills.

• Capability to write code, integrate with APIs, and independently prototype solutions.

• Knowledge of distributed systems trade-offs, throughput, backpressure, and delivery guarantees.

• Experience in the crypto sector, particularly with blockchain ecosystems, on-chain data, wallets, and transactions.

• Proven experience serving high-demand technical clients, preferably in trading, fintech, or latency-sensitive environments.

• Demonstrated success in owning product outcomes such as adoption, revenue, or retention.

• Strong instincts for pricing strategies in usage-based infrastructure products.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy.

• Previous software engineering experience or significant code contributions as a PM is preferred.

• Familiarity with real-time market data, event streaming, or trading/exchange infrastructure is advantageous.

• Experience specific to Solana is preferred.

• Prior experience in a founding or lead PM role at an infrastructure or devtools company is a plus.
