Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and drive the strategy for data products while executing the product roadmap.

• Convert business and user requirements into Product Requirements Documents, user stories, and technical specifications.

• Analyze application functionality and user processes to pinpoint areas for product enhancements and process improvements.

• Manage, prioritize, and refine the product backlog in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Work alongside data scientists to pinpoint trends in user behavior and identify product opportunities.

• Oversee timelines, sprint schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risks.

• Update internal and external stakeholders on project status.

• Keep product documentation, project plans, and decision logs up to date.

• Enhance project workflows and standards for documentation.

• Assist with daily application administration, content management, user support, and maintenance.

• Conduct quality assurance testing across various user roles.

• Coordinate the investigation, triage, and resolution of user issues with technical teams.

• Create user guides, training videos, and communication materials for users.

• Collect and analyze user feedback for product enhancements and backlog prioritization.

• Foster relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and end users.

• Develop content for stakeholder engagement and presentations for users.


⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Product Management or a related discipline.

• Experience with technical products, software applications, or data products.

• Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Asana.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities.

• Skill in effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to distill complex information into clear and actionable communication.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to build collaborative relationships across functions.

• Exceptional organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail.

• Capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexibility and comfort in adapting to changing priorities in a dynamic setting.

• Proactive and solutions-focused mindset.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for identifying opportunities for process improvement.

• A genuine curiosity and eagerness to learn about new technologies, products, or business sectors.
