This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of product strategy and execution for one or more essential software products, overseeing the process from discovery to delivery and iteration.
• Conduct interviews with customers, observe their workflows, and collaborate with domain experts to comprehend intricate operational challenges.
• Quickly adapt to unfamiliar technical areas and distill complex concepts into straightforward product direction.
• Establish product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and success metrics that align with customer outcomes and organizational objectives.
• Convert user needs, technical capabilities, and business priorities into actionable product requirements and initiatives.
• Collaborate with Design on user-centered discovery and concept validation efforts.
• Engage with Engineering to navigate technical tradeoffs, implementation strategies, and prioritization.
• Balance customer value with technical complexity, speed, and long-term platform investments.
• Foster alignment among Engineering, Design, Leadership, and customers.
• Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to assess product performance and enhance user outcomes.
• Articulate product decisions, priorities, and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience managing software products from discovery to launch in a technical B2B, enterprise, or platform setting.
• Capacity to swiftly learn new industries, technologies, and customer domains.
• Strong skills in customer discovery and user research methodologies.
• Excellent product judgment along with prioritization capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with Engineering and Design throughout the product lifecycle.
• Strong systems thinking aptitude with the ability to clarify complex technical concepts.
• Experience in defining product strategy using insights from customers, business goals, and technical limitations.
• Exceptional communication skills tailored to executive, technical, and customer audiences.
• Comfortable functioning in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
• Strong written communication skills for product requirements, strategic documents, and decision-making artifacts.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
• 5+ years of Product Management experience in developing technical software products (preferred).
• Experience with complex technical products, developer or expert tools, AI platforms, simulation software, geospatial systems, defense technology, aerospace, or other technically advanced products (preferred).
• Experience collaborating with highly technical customers, engineers, and domain experts (preferred).
• Familiarity with product discovery, experimentation, and user-centered product development processes (preferred).
• Experience guiding products from concept to launch in early-stage or high-growth settings (preferred).
• Technical background or ability to engage in discussions regarding architecture, APIs, AI/ML, or distributed systems (preferred).
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Compensation is based on experience, with a goal to be positioned at the higher end of the salary range.
