Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete product strategy and delivery for a key segment of Catchafire’s marketplace platform.

• Develop and expand the platform that connects pro bono professionals with organizations.

• Perform qualitative and quantitative user research, including conducting interviews, surveys, and analyzing data.

• Leverage AI tools to enhance research synthesis and guide roadmaps, backlogs, documentation, user stories, flows, specifications, and test plans.

• Collaborate with design and technology leaders, engage in agile sprints, and ensure timely delivery.

• Monitor feature performance against benchmarks and business objectives using analytics.

• Discover opportunities for AI and machine learning to enhance the product and streamline team workflows.

• Integrate AI tools and workflows while developing team proficiency through shared practices.

• Influence the AI capabilities within the broader platform roadmap.

• Convert technical trade-offs into business language and engage strategically with engineering and leadership.

• Report directly to the VP of Engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with marketplace platforms and/or B2B enterprise software.

• Ability to dissect ambiguous problems, build systems, and deliver results without extensive procedural frameworks.

• 5+ years of experience in product management.

• Strong aptitude for data-driven prioritization, systems thinking, structured problem-solving, and roadmap creation.

• Successful track record of launching at least one product at a growth-stage startup.

• Technical proficiency and capability to collaborate effectively with robust engineering teams.

• 2+ years of practical experience in designing, launching, or iterating on AI or ML-driven product features.

• Sound judgment on when AI is an appropriate solution.

• Proficiency in utilizing AI tools for research synthesis, specification writing, prototyping, and data analysis.

• Experience working with large, strategic, or enterprise-level partners.

• Comfort in presenting product strategy and trade-offs to executive stakeholders.

• Experience in managing agile sprints and enhancing team velocity and collaboration.

• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills.

• Practical experience with SQL, PostHog, FullStory, or Google Analytics.

• Quick learner with a proven record of performance in fast-paced settings.
