Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Expand team to introduce Ascertain into new product domains.

• Take charge of selecting workflows, their order of execution, and the necessary product features for implementation.

• Observe manual workflows within medical offices to pinpoint inefficiencies.

• Transform customer insights into products that can be utilized by an expanded customer base.

• Begin with prior authorization workflows to understand system functionality.

• Report directly to the product lead for the Expand initiative.

• Work alongside engineers, designers, product operations, forward-deployed engineers, and the implementation team.

• Manage workflows from start to finish, ensuring positive practice outcomes post-launch.

• Conduct discovery and shadowing sessions to grasp customer operations and prioritize development efforts.

• Determine which build elements will be incorporated into the product versus custom solutions tailored for specific practices.

• Plan for future capabilities while assessing current human involvement requirements.

• Provide value to partners while gathering data for future automation initiatives.

• Create acceptance criteria and oversee rollouts, addressing any issues that may arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in product management with a proven track record of setting the roadmap.

• Minimum of 2 years working on software targeted at a specific industry such as healthcare, legal, logistics, or construction.

• Proven experience in replacing manual processes with software solutions and delivering the final product.

• Proficiency in utilizing data and feedback to enhance product offerings.

• Skilled in managing stakeholder resistance with professionalism and building trust.

• Capable of recognizing technical approaches that may fall short of customer expectations and suggesting alternatives.

• Ability to create clear briefs, specifications, and memos.

• Preferred: Experience in prior authorization, revenue cycle management, or specialty healthcare.

• Preferred: Background in early-stage startups.

• Preferred: Design or engineering expertise.

• Preferred: Experience delivering a product based on language models.

• Familiarity with healthcare, revenue cycle, or prior authorization processes.

• Experience with AI or LLM products.
