This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +33 more states.
• Take ownership of the comprehensive strategy for product adoption across ActBlue's platform, which includes prioritizing roadmaps for discovery, onboarding, and user success.
• Oversee multiple concurrent adoption and onboarding initiatives across various teams, planning several quarters in advance.
• Define product requirements, roadmaps, and release strategies that enhance platform usage.
• Integrate qualitative and quantitative research, such as user interviews, support tickets, usage statistics, and market analysis, into product decision-making.
• Provide requirements, release plans, and long-term roadmaps that align with ActBlue's product and organizational strategy.
• Facilitate discussions regarding organization-wide priorities, trade-offs, and dependencies.
• Assess both short- and long-term effects of adoption and onboarding choices on users, ActBlue, and the fundraising ecosystem.
• Develop documentation for intricate cross-team projects, including strategy briefs, requirements, and rollout plans.
• Customize adoption metrics, onboarding insights, and growth strategy communications for engineering, design, support, leadership, and other stakeholders.
• Define problems, ROI, constraints, and solutions to enhance campaign and nonprofit success.
• Cultivate relationships with engineering, design, support, data, and marketing teams to promote product adoption.
• Conduct research on adoption and onboarding performance using data, competitive analysis, and user studies.
• 5–7 years of proven product management experience with a history of driving user adoption or growth.
• Background in collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance adoption, activation, or growth for intricate web applications.
• Capability to formulate long-term strategies while managing and prioritizing execution details.
• Experience with experimentation methods, including A/B testing, pilot programs, and phased rollouts.
• Proficiency in customizing communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in an agile product delivery environment where product, design, and engineering work closely together.
• Strong communication abilities and a team-oriented, remote-friendly approach to collaboration.
• Skill in navigating difficult conversations and achieving favorable outcomes for all involved parties.
• Attention to detail concerning customer experience design and usability.
• Empathy for user needs.
• Experience in making product decisions driven by data analysis and user research.
• Proficiency in SQL, Looker, or other data-visualization tools is an advantage.
• Commitment to fostering inclusivity and belonging among colleagues.
• Interest in progressive political issues.
• Availability during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
• Familiarity with virtual communication platforms such as Zoom and Slack.
