Senior Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of product capabilities from start to finish on both the web platform and mobile applications, overseeing everything from the initial commit to production monitoring.

• Design and implement features utilizing React, Node.js, and React Native.

• Model campaign operations, distribution tracking, and complex business processes as sustainable Temporal workflows.

• Incorporate LLMs, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation within the product offerings.

• Enhance proprietary AI applications and contribute to the definition of future AI capabilities.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, designers, and operations teams to define requirements, conduct experiments, analyze data, and deliver widely accepted solutions.

• Deploy services on AWS ECS and maintain efficient, reliable CI/CD pipelines.

• Enhance production performance and observability metrics.

• Lead technical design reviews, mentor team members, and refine engineering practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial software engineering focused on customer-facing web applications.

• At least 4 years of practical experience with Node.js and React.

• Proven experience in integrating LLM APIs, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and AWS Bedrock, into application workflows.

• Solid understanding of both relational and non-relational databases, including MySQL and MongoDB.

• Experience in deploying and managing cloud services, preferably on AWS.

• Proficient in English at an upper-intermediate level or fluent, with strong skills in asynchronous communication.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Temporal or similar workflow engines like Cadence, Step Functions, or Airflow.

• Preferred: Knowledge of TypeScript and AWS services, especially ECS.

• Preferred: Experience with React Native for iOS and Android.

• Preferred: Understanding of RAG pipelines, embeddings, evals, or agentic tool usage.

• Preferred: Experience in conducting product experiments, telemetry and analytics instrumentation, and rapid prototyping.
