This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take ownership of the design, implementation, and management of high-quality full-stack features and systems, with a focus on scalable APIs.
β’ Develop robust health insurance platforms and utilize AI/ML to improve processes and decision-making.
β’ Iterate and deliver swiftly, viewing releases as valuable learning opportunities.
β’ Construct and refine enrollment, CRM, and tracking tools for carriers, agents, and consumers.
β’ Establish roadmap items and platform commitments that support new business ventures.
β’ Collaborate with engineering, product, and design colleagues within a teamwork-focused pod.
β’ Enhance code quality, scalability, and agility throughout the codebase.
β’ Function within a DevOps culture that emphasizes multiple daily value deliveries.
β’ Proactively address security, observability, and telemetry challenges.
β’ Quickly acquire knowledge, tackle complex issues, and adapt to changing priorities.
β’ Report directly to an Engineering Manager.
β’ A minimum of 8 years of experience required for the Senior Product Engineer position.
β’ Comprehensive software development lifecycle experience, including post-launch feature support in agile/lean settings.
β’ Proficiency with Ruby on Rails or equivalent backend frameworks.
β’ Familiarity with ReactJS or comparable frontend frameworks.
β’ Experience with SQL, relational data modeling, and creating reusable components.
β’ Background in building distributed systems at scale.
β’ Understanding of infrastructure as code principles.
β’ Expertise in creating developer-friendly APIs.
β’ Knowledge regarding observability and telemetry practices.
β’ Product-oriented mindset with a focus on user perspectives.
β’ Capacity to adapt to and effectively utilize new technologies.
β’ Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
