This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of UI/UX design for key product interfaces within the patient platform and related offerings, encompassing flows, information architecture, high-fidelity designs, and design systems.
• Directly design and deliver within the AI-assisted workflow using tools such as Lovable, Codex, and VS Code to swiftly validate concepts with users and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain AI capabilities and reusable workflows that enhance the quality and speed of design outputs across the team.
• Collaborate with product owners during discovery by translating customer insights, analytics, and business objectives into design choices.
• Work closely with engineering to ensure designs are implemented as intended and refine them based on post-launch insights.
• Contribute to and help uphold a consistent design system throughout various products.
• Offer a strong perspective on usability and accessibility tailored for a healthcare audience.
• Manage the complete design process from concept to delivered experience, including engineering handoff and post-launch refinements.
• Assist with visual and branding elements, such as logos and marketing-related designs, when necessary.
• Initially concentrate on the Brello patient platform, with the opportunity to work on HelloWellness, pharmacy, and internal platforms over time.
• Over 10 years of product design experience in web and mobile, featuring a portfolio that showcases shipped projects and the rationale behind them.
• Proven experience in designing and prototyping using AI-assisted tools (e.g., Lovable, Codex, Cursor, Claude, or VS Code with AI assistants).
• Comfort in coding rather than depending solely on a traditional Figma-first approach.
• Technical expertise to engage with front-end code and utilize custom AI skills and prompt workflows that enhance design efficiency.
• Willingness to fully embrace our ideation workflow and contribute to its evolution.
• Experience collaborating directly with engineers and product managers in agile, small-team settings.
• Strong communication capabilities; able to articulate design decisions to executives and support them with evidence.
• Background in healthcare, health technology, or other regulated sectors is preferred.
• Experience designing consumer subscription or membership products is preferred.
• Familiarity with usability testing and research-driven design methodologies is preferred.
